Our photographer is $3200 for 8 hours of unlimited photos. Our invites and photographer were my biggest splurge, but photos are really important to me. A lot of other photographers in the area are much more so I feel like we’re getting a great deal. I LOVE her and am considering upgrading to the 10 hr package for $3600. It just depends how important the pictures are to you and what style you like. I found a bunch of lower priced photographers that do more traditional type photos, but I prefer photojournalists and they can be a bit more.

Our dj will be $900 for 6 hours (150/hr), but we are getting a discount because we’re getting married on a Thursday. Normally he is $200/hr.

We don’t live in a big city – York, Pa. But we are about an hour from Baltimore and 2 hours from Washington DC for reference.

@Kimy:  We are date twins!!!  Yay! As for prices I can’t really help you with a photographer (my dad’s friend is doing it for us as a wedding gift) and our DJ definitely ran on the pricier side.  He’s going to cost us $1200 for 6.5 hours.

holy crap some of these prices have me choking on my drink!

We paid $5500 for catering for 120 people… that included our appetizers during cocktail hour, 2 meats/starch/and vegetable for dinner, 175 mini chocolate tres leches for dinner, bar service, 2 bar set ups, the dinner was plated, all service and what not.

Our photographer was $2200 and worth every penny, our videographer charged the same amount.

Our day of coordinator charged $1100 and our DJ was $1395.

You’re going to find a variety of different prices depending on region and what quality/experience you’re aiming for.

We opted for photographer that we really loved his style and work and it was close to 7K without albums.

Catering/food was in the 5 digits

DJ and Videographer were more economical because we went with an aquaintance and a graduate art school student.

I’m In NJ and our photographer charges $1595 for all day coverage, two photographers, and the CD with rights. Our DJ is typically $500 but he knew the lady who was coordinating for me and is charging us $400. I can’t believe some of the prices in this thread…

Totally dependent upon location. I live in a big city in the midwest, and average price of photographers is 2800-3800
