I have no advice or anything, just wanted to say, damn! That’s a lot of BS! I’d be frustrated as hell if I were you too!

Good grief.  This is why I had a list of about 5 different Cooks to talk to an interview we got married the first time. Planning an anniversary ceremony and party now…. I didn’t use half the vendors Brides use now and the worst situation I had was my cook broke his finger the night before the wedding but he was still there and he just brought extra helpers. Tbe  more I read the more I think my husband will get his way in this will be a simple party with a fancy cake ……. Maybe we should just run off to Hawaii and have a ceremony on the beach lol….. I am very glad to hear that you’re venue is cooperating probably the hardest thing to change in a pinch. Hang in there, even some of the most dramatic  weddings with  the most problems go on to have the most wonderful marriages with beautiful memories of a loving wedding day. It will be ok

I feel your pain! No words of wisdom though unfortunately – I’d be pissed too. How far out is your wedding?

When is your wedding? It’s possible that if it’s still quite far away, vendors are not prioritizing your requests yet.

Even if the wedding is a way off yet and vendors are prioritizing more recent weddings, it’s still unprofessional IMO for her emails to go ignored. It doesn’t take long to send a 3 or 4 line response and this could include letting her know things are definitely on board and a timeline she can expect to start working with them.

That sucks, if it makes you feel better some of mine were not very responsive 6+ months out… They are all super responsive now that we are a little over a month away… I don’t recomend that you use Indochino for his suit… 50/50 shot at another frustration.

I’m so sorry! That is serisouly so frustrating. I had issues with my florist who was out on vacation but didn’t set up an OOO e-mail or anything so I just didn’t get a response for over two weeks.  That kind of made me panic, but she got to me before I started looking at switching.  I would try calling them maybe? I find that these places are pretty slow at responding through e-mail.  I figure since we’re in full blown wedding season they must be getting a ton of e-mails.  If it helps make you feel better, I am in the final two weeks until my wedding and my vendors are now trying to get ahold of ME to get the details sorted.
