I’m getting married in March 2009 and we have our church and reception location set(Incarnate Word Motherhouse & Witte Museum) . Everything else is still up in the air! I’d love some vendor recommendations from you ladies, I currently live in Dallas and I can only make it down every couple of months so I need as much help as I can get. 🙂
Right now I’m looking for a photographer, a photobooth company (TNT is booked), and any other recommendations are more than welcome!

The Witte! I’m jealous. =)
I just moved to San Antonio and my wedding is in the Northeast area, so I can’t really help you! You’ve probably got your dress and Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses already, but I’d avoid both Julian Gold and the Bridal Salon of San Antonio — they had NO selection!

I am from Dallas and having my wedding in San Antonio also. We have booked Page Barteau for caterering and Josh Fowler for Photography. You have picked lovely locations. Is Michelle Moon still the coordinator at the Whitte? She is a great resource.

I’m getting married at the Witte, too.. and we’re also getting a photobooth by TNT! Yay! We went with Absolutely Delicious catering… Veronica, the owner, has been great but I had some serious communication issues with one of her employees at the beginning. Our other vendors are photography by FACES by Jessica (we had a budget of $1,000 and a lot of people were booked right after xmas, but we found her on craigslist); Oak Hills Florist; D’Pasteles Bakery (they’re up and coming so they were CHEAP); Tempo String Quartet (VERY reasonable and they’re all symphony musicians); and Mariachi Tamazula (from Austin).

noreenk thats crazy! I also thought about Absolutely Delicious but one of the employees never gets back to me so we just put down our deposit with Platinum Events. I see you’re getting married before me – can’t wait to see your pics!
I never found a photobooth 🙁

- Wedding: April 2018 - Country Club ceremony, ballroom reception
We are also using TNT — they have fantastic prices and Terica has been a DREAM to work with! Obvi we haven’t actually had the wedding yet, but so far I’d totally recommend them!

For flowers, I would recommend http://www.Petalworks.com. I just recently met April and she’s super nice and she loves weddings. She’s from California and she’s building her business in Austin.
Also, since a couple other folks did it, can I recommend myself? If you’re looking for videography (or aren’t yet, but might be in the future!) you can check out my web site at: http://www.VanessaMcKellar.com.
