I would send her an email and tell her that in her “absence” you found someone else.

I know it SUCKS, big time.  Fiance and I fell in love with an event planner for a hotel, but hated the hotel.  LOL.  i liked her so much I tried to justify hating the venue for the planner.

…Also, I voted for punch her in the face.  I have never punched anybody, so it made me feel tough. πŸ™‚

I would email her, not so much out of courtesy, but to let her know the reason why you decided to go with someone else. She should know that her lack of professionalism lost her a client.

I had a strange situation with the first photog I was going to book.  I ended up not saying anything, I just deleted them and found another one.  I was just afraid of the community being so small, I didn’t want to respond in a nasty way and have them spread word not to work with me.  Who knows if that would of happened, I just didn’t want to take the chance.  However, after the wedding, I do plan on going to wedding websites and giving a negative review.  The way they conducted themselves was so unprofessional, I don’t want another couple to have to even deal with it.

Since she has failed to respond to your emails, I would just move on. You owe her nothing and whose to say that if you email her again that she would even read it. I am glad to everything worked out with your photographer and you found someone you love at a great price!

I would probably not be able to hold back sarcasm.  I would write something about the “contract” missing some vital information.  Or that a contract seemed to be included with this other photographer, and that “a free contract form” is an offer you just can’t refuse.

    Bad heathaah…

Oh I’d email her and tell her that she kinda dropped the ball and therefore missed out on a contract. Really, I’d try to NOT be snarky, but it probably wouldn’t work. Anyway, I’m glad you found a photographer!

I would send her an email letting her know that while you admire her work, you are disapointed to say that you will not be working with her because of the lack of communication.

Good luck with the new photographers!
