- Wedding: September 2017
Just having a rant – Both Fiance and I live and work in London and we are getting married near to where I grew up (very much not in London but not exactly a destination wedding.) We had planned a trip this weekend for our cake consultation, to view our venue and to meet our photographer. We have booked our coach tickets (it’s a 4 hour journey there and we could’nt afford the slightly quicker train, prices are rediculious) and we’ve hired a (non refundable) car for when we are there. Now in the last few days both the venue hand the photographer have booked in other events and want to know if we can change our plans to see them. This is getting so frustrating! We dont have the finances or the time off work to keep making trips back but obviously no one is willing to refuse an actual booking for the sake of clients they have already taken money from.
Has anyone else run up against this problem during their wedding planning?
