Oh man, I am so sorry about that!  What company did you order from?  Is there ANY way you could have a back up dress for them?

That’s the exact dress style I ordered for a wedding I’m a bridesmaid in this Sunday, and Alfred Angelo was a pain.

I ordered my dress in “tealness” way back in March…and because of the short amount of time the bride was planning her wedding, I asked for rush order. Well, AA said that wasn’t possible because, and I quote, “China is too busy to make the dress that quick and rush order.”

So they told me my dress would get her a few days before the wedding. Lucky for me, it showed it one week before the wedding, but the dress was too big (even though I was measured), and the straps were majorly long. I was able to fix the straps, but I can’t fix the bigness of the dress in time. Fortunately it’s not SO big where it’s falling off of me, but it’s noticeable in the bust.

AA is frustrating, to say the least. I hope everything works out.

oh no! your issue sounds worse than mine, though if it’s only 2 girls (that’s how it sounds to me at least), it is easier to replace 2 dresses than 3 for me. i’m having stress from bm dresses as well, but my wedding is a little farther away than yours.

i had an issue where 1 dress came in about 2-3 sizes too small. it was a combination of the bridesmaid not being measured (i had her look at the size chart and tell me what size to choose – she obviously chose the wrong one, but this is my fault because i should have had her measured) and also the dress she ordered (we had each girl choose a different dress, for a mismatched look) is made almost a size smaller than other styles.

i went around with her today to find a sample in that same color so that she’ll at least match the other 2 bridesmaids. but the store that i ordered the dresses from wanted MORE for the sample than i paid for each original dress! that upset me, especially since she didn’t love the sample we would be buying. so we ended up going elsewhere and buying a different sample that is a little bit big but she really likes. it is very different and won’t match as well as the original dress, and it has ‘sample’ sewn onto the dress, but at least we were able to get one that works.
