Little backstory: there is a girl who I was friends with, and then showed her true colors (rude, selfish, she has called me rude for turning down lunch invites where I politely said I couldn’t since I had other plans, I could go on but trying to keep this to the point.) I haven’t defriended her on FB due to mutual friends.
I posted on FB how I was getting cornhole boards and thought a tournament was a good idea. This girl commented that she had a big backyard and volunteered to have it at her house. I have been wanting to host a cookout with cornhole for a long time, so I said, “thanks for the offer. I had already made most of the plans including the location. I appreciate all the enthusiasm.” A few hours later, this girl posts about how awful it is to be nice and have someone be “incredibly rude and passive aggressive in return.”
I would like a little perspective:
1. Would you be irritated about someone trying to “steal” your event?
2. Do you think her comment was about me?
