yep, good move completely ignoring that stupidity.  She’s obviously your friend for some reason so I’d keep her in the bridal party and keep doing your thing and let her deal with her own problems!

There’s a lot of weird behaviour when it comes to weddings – brings out some mighty unusual comments from peopel!!  Got to keep focusing on yourself and Fiance

I would honestly tell her “It seems that you have some problems going on that lead me to believe you aren’t capable of handling yourself well enough to be a bridesmaid, let alone my friend.”

I can’t stand when someone blows something up like that, and then to make it worse, tries to “turn it around” onto someone else and make it seem like it’s that persons fault/problem and not their own.

Good luck with everything, I hope your other bridesmaids are nothing but supportive and helpful! 🙂

All I really have to say to this is.. WOW.

I cannot believe she is acting so childish in this situation!  First of all, it’s YOUR wedding.  She has no right to control who you have in your wedding party.  If she was mature, she could tolerate the new Bridesmaid or Best Man for the few hours she will have to be around her.

Also, posting on Facebook about it is just a serious sign of immaturity.  I’m sorry you’re going through this.  It’s sad that such a good friend would be so selfish for your day.  It sounds to me like if she’s going to act like she is, you don’t really need her in your life.  I know it’s hard, because you thought she was a good friend, but this hissy fit is just ridiculous.  To be honest, if I had a friend like this I’m not sure I’d want her in my wedding party anymore.. I would be scared she’d pull something like this on my wedding day!  You don’t need that stress!

I have absolutely no doubt that you are doing the right thing here!  Stand your ground!

Well at least she made the choice for you by deleting you from Facebook! Now you can save yourself a lot of frustration and just enjoy planning with those you love!

@ForeverGandJ: OMG I told you, my ex friend did the same exact thing. I’m sorry she flipped out! Good riddance, you’re better off. Enjoy the weeks before your wedding!

She’s not forced to be a bridesmaid in your wedding.  She can suck it up or not be a bridesmaid.  Problem solved
