Why is it that hairdressers can never get my hair right? I’ve had some awful experiences before I learned to go to a good salon, like getting my hair cut so one side was an inch longer than the other side. Now I usually go to Aveda salons because they seem to have some consistency in the quality from location to location, so I’m usually happy with my haircut. I try to go to the same woman, but she books fast. Even then, since I don’t go very often, she doesn’t always cut it the same.
Yesterday I got it cut at a different Aveda place and she really didn’t listen too well. I have a short bob, cut to the hairline in the back and layered and cut longer in the front with no layers. She ended up putting heavy layers throughout. She got the length perfect, but I hate layers anywhere but the back, where it’s necessary with this cut.
It’s so frustrating! I was very specific, since I have learned to speak up early or be unhappy later.
Anyone else have trouble getting a consistently good haircut?
