I wouldn’t let it bother you so much. In the big scheme of things, nothing that bad has happened. You found a dress at the second place you looked, the one dress was only temporarily mislaid and you still have 5 months to solve the problem with the too tight dresses.

Take a breath and relax.

I feel you…The only stressful part of planning my wedding so far has been the bridesmaid dresses.  My experience isn’t the same as yours, we decided to buy off the rack at Nordstrom’s (a department store).  But the dress I chose was sold out.

I spent months tracking the dress down at department stores, paying for the dress and being shipped the wrong one, geting ruined dresses (they are heavily beaded and delicate).  Then the dresses go on sale, so trying to track down 5 more dresses at the sale price.  After 5 months I have them all…2 are in the mail to be delivered today, and I need to return three dresses.  I paid for all off them at the cost of $300 (for the first 5 dress), and have bought multiple dresses and returned.  I still have 3 to return to the store…I’ve spent a fortune on all the dresses, can’t wait to get some money back.  But it was worth it, we have 5 all for $150.  It was really stressful b/c I did all the work, and 3 of my Bridesmaid or Best Man are in Arizona, one in Iowa and only one is local here in Chicago.

Just be happy that you have all your dresses in hand and in the right color.  I hope the salon worked with you to get the one dress exchanged for a larger size.
