Is it tacky of me that I just posted on facebook “anxiously awaiting the return of our RSVPs. We’ve received less than 1/4th and only have a week left.”
I’m just starting to get ticked. We’ve received 36 out of 185 RSVPs, they were mailed almost 4 weeks ago and are due next saturday. I’m getting impatient!

might just be the kick in the butt some people need. Only an issue if people who aren’t invited see the post.

@LovebirdsSC: i would say no but a lot of people on here are going to say its tacky.

Nope, just a reminder! Some people need that kick.

Ehhh… I would avoid saying anything on FB – unless everyone your friends with is invited. It could lead to hurt feelings and awkward situations when people realize they’re not invited.
Also, you still have a week before the RSVPs are due. I bet you get a lot next week – some people are just a little slow (*raises hand*).

I would have done the same thing!

I would do the same thing but 90% of my list is not on FB… lol

I think it’s tacky only because typically the majority of someone’s facebook friends aren’t invited and it’s just a reminder of that… a PM would’ve been better suited IMO. But it’s already done and it’s certainly not egregious lol

I’d do it. Go tag all the people who need to send it back kidding

Eh, unless you called out people regarding their specific rsvp’s, then it’s a blanket message and you’re fine.

It’s not something I would do, only because FB invites drama and huffiness, and people might feel bad they were never invited.

If the people invited are huffy or hurt by it, they only have themselves to blame as they are the ones procrastinating! I doubt that for 75% of every bride’s guest list a week is going to give them some revelation of whether they can attend or not. For a few, yes, but not that many people every time!!
