- Wedding: September 2013
I’m just going to vent here. My Fiance is a groomsman in a wedding where the couple is so self-absorbed and abnoxious, it makes me sick thinking about them. In addition to the 1000 other demands they have made on my Fiance, they “surprised” the bridal party by having a bridal party slow dance. Note, this was NOT to get people on the dance floor because they never opened it up to other people. They just made the groomsmen slow dance with the bridesmaids to a slow love song. Really?? I’ve been to 30+ weddings, I’ve been in the bridal party of 5, and I’ve never seen anything like this. Why?? What’s the point? All of us at the “dates” table (i.e. they had a head table with the bridal party and all the dates sat at a separate table) were looking at each other like WTF. Then we were joking that maybe we should all pair up and start slow dancing with each other! I just don’t get it. Let’s have a photo op of two people who never met until this weekend slow dance with each other while their dates awkwardly watch from afar! LAME.
