I am so super excited to annouce that we have booked a VENUE!!! I felt that was a HUGE committment in fact I am starting to really freak out because it means the countdown and planning really really BEGINS!
I felt that I couldn’t really set dates or appointments for vendors and stuff until I found a venue. We did it and we are getting married at The Plaza in downtown Houston Tx!
I couldnt be more excited. Now that I have a venue booked am I suppose to have a Theme? I have my colors African Violet, Orange, and Gold but should I have something to tie it together like a theme?? N
Any ideas or suggestions would be awesome!!

@diva81esq: thank you so much! our guest count is 150 (including kids) I was told by my friend not to include kids 5 and under so now I have a few spots that i can invite some close friends. Its going to be mainly family.

Congrats! I know what you mean about finally having the venue booked- all of a sudden it’s like “Okay, this is REALLY happening!”, then no matter how much time you have left it still feels close…
