I signed contracts on my venue and put down the deposit today! During my lunchbreak.
We will be hosting both the ceremony and the reception there.
My date is official! June 4, 2016
This is the first thing we’ve really done for the wedding, but one of the most important!
I am so incredibly excited 🙂 Do I have any date twins yet?

Not date twins, but how exciting! The whole venue thing has got me a bit flustered. They’re all so damn expensive. Congrats on finding yours 😀

blt982: It really was frustrating! A venue I really wanted had a $8000 catering minimum! Since Fiance and I are funding this ourselves that was really outrageous! Espesially for West Texas! Other places were mostly barns and really rustic, which is beautiful for some just not my style. We’re really luck to have found a beautiful place that lets us choose all of our own venders. Which means I get to put my thrifty powers to great use!
