You are on the right track! Your inspiration photos are gorgeous and all the previous bees have said exactly what I would have!

I think small doses of sequins would be okay (gold sequins, I hope?). I had a similar-looking venue and struggled for awhile trying to get my “theme” (somewhere between rustic & vintage) on point. What I found was that when I focused more on how I wanted things to feel, as opposed to look, it was way easier. We ended up with a lovely classic, romantic wedding. I think what you have so far is really lovely and will look great!

Also with the chairs – not sure where you are located, but in my area, I found chairs to rent for $3  (the white resin ones). Ultimately, I decided the additional expense wasn’t worth it and just used my venue’s chairs but if it matters to you, definitely try googling some rental companies in your area and just see what the cost might be? I found renting chairs would’ve actually been cheaper than chair covers.

ClaudiaKishi:  YES sequins! I think especially with what you’re going for- more of a chic rustic- they would add a great pop. Not necessarily every table, but maybe a runner on every other table, something like that.

monogram flowers on mantel: YES.  love it.

chairs: i would go spandex covers, in a non-white.  i have a similiar dilemma for my wedding- hideous reg/gold banquet chairs are free, and white covers at $4 to rent.  I looked into black wooden folding chairs, but they ar enot reccomended for larger guests (which i have), so we are doing black spandex covers for the chairs.  i get my dark chair look, i found them for 1/2 the price of the venue, and they won’t break under any of my guests.

i would not leave the hcairs just as is…..i think covers could be great.  loook into a pale tan, camel, or even a gray or chocolate brown.  i woudl skip sashes, as i am just not a fan. or, do sashes just on bridal party or family.

the overall decor looks great- love the lanterns and mercury glass.

ClaudiaKishi:  I would love to have a nice cushion, on a chair, rather than a cover, if there’s a choice – especially for wooden chairs. My daughter used spandex covers and they were pricey ; there’s a lot of labor to put them on, loop through the bottom of all 4 feet, and get them on straight.
