We’re renting candles from our venue (floating and votives), and I’m wondering if we should have any sort of small centerpiece on any tables. We are having a cocktail style reception, no formal sit down dinner and very few tables. The divider of the room would have candles and the bouquets (calla lilies). This picture shows the venue with the minimal decorations. I just want to get feedback from other people. Is it enough?

I think it’s enough since it’s just cocktail reception. Simple yet elegant. 🙂

I agree. Simple and elegantly done. A lil more green wouldn’t hurt but yes this would look good!

I like it! If you were really desiring something on the little tables, maybe some really really small centerpieces, but I don’t really think it’s necessary! Beautiful venue.

Thank you for your feedback! I really appreciate it. I swear, I can’t make a wedding decision without other opinions. Ridiculous, haha.

I think it’s enough to jazz up the place. If you added more, I doubt the guests would really notice or remember, to be honest. They’ll be busy mingling and chatting, hopefully! =o)

I really like just the candles! It will give a great feeling to the room and is perfect for a cocktail reception. You could maybe put some additional candles on tables if you wanted but I don’t think you need more than that.

Thank you all for your input! I’m really starting to think that no one is going to care if there are just candles. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone leave a wedding and say, “Ugh, did you SEE the lack of centerpieces? Who does she think she is…” haha. Thanks everyone!
