KittensBee : You are stressing about the food minimum, but I don’t think you need to!
The venue doesnt care how many people you have, what would likely happen is if you had 50 people vs your 85, that just ups the pp budget to $170 pp vs $100. There are many ways you can hit this – more appies, late night snack, higher end/larger portions, champagne toast. Its not like they’ll just throw away 35 portions of the dinner lol.

jellybellynelly : That’s true… I guess when I initially ran the numbers using their menu, I would need 28 dozens of tray passed hors d’oeuvre (7 different kind @ 4 dozens each), 85 of each for the following: 1 choice of salad, 1 choice of appetizer, and 1 choice of entree to hit above $8,500. I thought 28 dozens of hors d’oeuvre might be stretching it before 4 course dinner but perhpas not? Do you think given all the info, Saturday is still a better choice?
