Ok, any ideas on how to make a ‘country’ themed venue fit a black and white wedding? were not using a damask pattern, its just simple black and white…like the early bealtes with their black suits. clean lines. but our venue has red and blue stars an a “texas” sign above the bar and other numerous country things.ANY IDEAS?

Wow, you might have your work cut out for you. Do you have to use that venue/theme? I agree that maybe pictures would help us come up with ideas!

You could maybe use stars as like a theme? Hang barn stars up throughout the venue and paint them black and white? Sorry not much help!

You know… I was just talking to my Grandmother this evening about the UGLY green walls at my venue & you know what her response was (she’s been to TONS of weddings from the super fancy to the family gatherings)….
I’ve never noticed that stuff at any of the weddings I’ve been too.
I see you’re new to the hive & as much as I LOVE all the insight… don’t let yourself get overwhelmed or focused on things that you/others aren’t going to notice on your big day 😉
Now… “hopefully” some awesome bee on here will have the perfect doable solution… BUT if not I wouldn’t sweat it 😉

Girl I live for fixing these problems! i love it. You have to be open to mixing the two just a little bit. Keep most everything your very clean black and white, like you are already planning. Use the country vibe and one color either the blue or the red, in tiny small details to where they are almost hidden, but stand out just enough. i would love to give you specific details, but I don’t know enough about your wedding decor. I would love to help more, if you’d like to message me with specific details.
