My wedding is one month out, and in the third consut i’ve had with my venue event coordinator, she asks me if I have found a place to rent chairs yet. Umm… no. I haven’t because I was told that they were provided, and upon further investigation- I found past emails between us that clearly stated that the rental of chairs was included in the package pricing. She said we would have plenty of chairs and that the venue took care of renting them.
After pointing this out to her, she still declined to rent any chairs, and said that was not included in the written contract (It is not adressed in the contract- but I have the emails where she said it was taken care of) and she was not responsible for that, and that they would only provide 170 garden chairs (I was told they would provide 460), and then 200 red cushioned chairs (The wedding colors are blue and gray).
What do I do?! Do I not have valid point? Do I try and talk to her manager? Or would it just be easier to give it up and get my own chairs??
