@greeney1384:  I haven’t heard too much about Castle except from their ads in the wedding magazines, but it seems nice enough.  Its on the water so it seems like you’d get some nice pictures.

I went to The Mansion for a tour, it came in 2nd for me though, because I did not like the room layouts – its odd shaped, and half of the room can’t see the dance floor!  And I didn’t care for the room decor.  But I really loved their ceremony space (if you’re having it there). As far as I know, they will be over $100pp

Not sure on Ramblewood to be honest..

Have you looked at any hotels?  I looked at the Wyndham Mt. Laurel and I thought it had a nice set up, and prices started around $87pp before tax and gratuity.  I actually have my hotel block there and we’re doing a brunch the next morning.

Hope this helps!  Good luck!

We looked at the Castle and The Mansion too. The Castle is OK, but its on a marina, so behind the fence (where the cermony is held) are lots of docked boats. We worried about motors revving up and the general noise of people hanging out on their boats (my SIL’s boat is docked there and they do the same thing). For bad weather, they hold the ceremony in the Ballroom, and change it over during coctail hour (which has to be in a pretty small area adjacent). It may have changed now, since we looked at it almost 3 years ago, for a June wedding.

I’ve been to several weddings at the Mansion too. The dance floor is pretty small, and they have the tables way too close together, but the food is decent and the cocktail hours have been very nice.

You really have to visit them and decide what you prefer. The Castle has just one wedding at a time, while the Mansion may have several.

Yeah there is definitely no outdoor ceremony option at the Wyndham, the outdoor space was a big downfall for me there, since its right by a Wawa and the turnpike…nothing really pretty.  But the hotels seem to only do 1 wedding at a time as opposed to The Mansion, or Lucien’s which I heard is like a wedding factory…

Not sure if you’d go as far as Egg Harbor, but Renault winery is pretty nice, and depending on what you want, could be in your price range as well.  Definitely have options for outdoor weddings!  Or maybe Tomasello winery.

I was previously married at the Mansion in Voorhees.  I have nothing but positives to say about it.  the food was good, the staff was helpful, and the ceremony space was beautiful.  We had 200 people and they fit on the dancefloor just fine.

@greeney1384:  I have a coworker who got married there about 3 years ago – he had nothing negative to say about it, it looks pretty nice!
