Hello brides!
I am still plugging away with the venue search (I’ve resorted to using google maps to locate garden/farm venues in nj and pa.) The major deal breaker for us is the budget. We have got to be <100pp simply bc we’re paying for it by ourselves yet have to invite upwards of 150ppl.
So far we’ve got appointments with Bartram’s Garden and the Abington Art Center. I’ve reached out to their caterers but haven’t heard anything yet.
Does anyone have the skinny on Crossing Vineyards & Winery? like pp costs?

Recently heard a piece on Chantaclair Gardens in Wayne, PA– it sounded really nice… Also, Core Creek State Park near Newtown- has an awesome Gazebo as an option- they reserve/rent the pavilion but the Gazebo for the ceremony or photos is free.

Shoot. I had looked up/emailed Crossing & a few other local wineries/vineyards & they were definitely out of my range. Your best bet is to probabl email them to get pp costs.
Also, if you haven’t already, check Partyspace.com. They give the venue costs & availibility for Philly area venues.

Not sure if your 100pp budget is just for food or also includes venue/rentals/other costs, but you could look into all-inclusive packages. We got married at Glen Foerd, and while their sticker price looks high, they are very flexible with adjusting the packages to lower prices. Plus the package includes everything, so (for us, anyway) it was cheaper than paying separate fees.

Thanks for your help ladies. Still plugging away. hoping for an all inclusive deal. I will look into Chantaclair and Glen Ford. Thanks! Love Partyspace also but why does JAM catering have exclusive rights to every venue i fall in love with! There food looks awesome but we just can’t afford it. grrr.

You should check out the Regal Ballroom they include everything from food, table linens, cocktail hour, open bar and so much more. The only thing you really have to do is get your Dj and another plus is that they run lots of specials sometime 15% off
