PilotsLocal:  I’m sure there’s more, but I think this is the one you’re talking about! According to my google searches lol.

acgb:  Most brides don’t have the slightest clue what’s the history of their venues (especially hotels). You just happend to find out about it randomly in the news because it was recent. If you watch the ID channel, there’s a show there specifically about hotel guests who never check out because they were murdered. You also don’t know how many people have drowned in the hotel pool or how many people have jumped from their windows. These things happen absolutely beyond anyone’s control.

Think of it this way; you’re bringing back a lot of loving, positive, radiant energy to the venue after this horrific tragedy.

But really, don’t sweat it. It’s okay to love the venue. It’s okay to have a happy wonderful event at the venue. It isn’t disrespectful towards anyone.

  • Wedding: September 2015 - Historic Chapel

acgb:  I got married in a historic site, the small chapel was built in the 1900’s and there is a house next to it that was built in the 1800’s, the house is the oldest huse standing in my area. The house was a murder scene once, that’w where we took all our wedding pictures. It never bothered me! I actually thought it was pretty cool lol
