i didn’t think this would happen to me because the venue AND the wedding manager have good reviews online……….
long story short, i paid my deposit last december. i never heard from the manager after the credit card was charged. i didn’t think it was a big deal at first.
a few days ago, i started to wonder what my next steps should be to finalize the details (what course to serve, how tables should be placed, linen color…etc). i emailed her last friday. no reply. i thought that was normal because she usually would call to reply my emails. waited till saturday, still no reply. so i decided to call her, phone was transferred by the receptionist to her line (meaning she is NOT on vacation or anything), no one answered. i left her a voice message for her to call me back.
i still haven’t heard back from her even though i called again earlier (monday) and left her another voice message.
i definitely feel mistreated especially when she was always very responsive before i paid the deposit.
i thought about calling to talk to her manager, but wonder if this would make future coordinations with her harder? how should i deal with this correctly?
can someone please give me some advise? thanks….
