Is there another person you can contact at the venue?  I would start calling at 9am and call every so often during the day (whenever you have time) until she answers.  That would make me so nervous!!!

How did you make an appointment to view the property the first time?

Regardless of how far away your wedding is- they should be replying. You’re a paying customer and have a natural desire to see and envision what you’re wedding day will be. One year may seem like a while, but in the wedding business they should know that time FLIES. That’s very disappointing and I hope you get a reply soon, that sounds super stressful ((hugs))

Two words: Not cool. I would consider getting in touch with someone higher up the ladder and express your concerns, that should get someone’s butt moving! Since you already put the deposit down (to them that could mean a ”done deal” and therefore won’t jump through hoops in a hurry), it might be good to mention that you were planning on recommending the venue to fellow friends/family/brides! Word of mouth is word of mouth and the thought of losing potential business might also get their butt in gear. $2000.00 is A LOT of money and they better start taking you seriously. Yes, the wedding is a year away, but you have a right to prompt service with or without the deposit being down. It’s called good service, helllllohhh?

@Cheyo88:  I know what you mean… But these are legitamite concerns to be having at this point… There’s nothing wrong with expressing them politely and calmly if you choose to do so ;). If you do, she might know how to handle your business relationship moving forward, and if she knows your expectations, she will be able to do a good job for the big day. Hopefully, things will go smoothly moving forward

I would maybe call and say “I’ve called and emailed wth no response. So I’m just giving you a heads up that I will be stopping by when I’m in town next! Can’t wait to see you and hope you’re having a great wedding season!”

I would not say when.

I would not say why.

I would not be nasty yet.

And I would ask when I talked to her w hat the preferred method of contact i s as you were struggling to get a response.

Stoping by and giving her a chance to make things right is not a bad idea… hopefully she will call you back before that is necessary!

I think her knowing you mean business ad possibly having to deal with you when she clearly doesn’t want to will make the phone ring.
