babybamabelle:  What do you consider a regular venue? There’s really no such thing as too cheap/expensive when it comes to venues. The right amount comes down to what you can comfortably afford. Set a budget first and take it from there. By The Way the Florida Aquarium sounds like a fantastic venue!

babybamabelle:  Make sure you ask about the food/drink min. Most places like zoos, aquariums, and Art venues have a venue price plus a min required food/drink.

Our venue is near $3000. Includes: full building the day prior (Friday) and day of (Saturday).

All tables, chairs, audio, set up and tear down.

And… I forget the rest…sorry, I don’t have the list with me at the moment.

Some venues included the above, some do not.

Yea, it depends largely on what’s included.  We’re getting marrieid at a vineyard, and the fee is $5,500, which includes tables, chairs, and dishes, but not food, wine or linen, for example.  We knew we wanted to get married at a vineyard (there are lots in our part of NC), and this was pretty average pricing, but I dind’t price any other types of venues.
