Hi scola28,

I was the DOC for a small wedding that was held at a vacation rental in Malibu.  The house has 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen.  It’s got a beautifully landscaped backyard for a reception, and a winding path down to a private beach.

I hear you! Ugh – it was the worst part. We ended up finding a church we loved – First Congregational Church of Los Angeles – and just decided to have both the reception and ceremony there. Cheaper and easier. But – if you don’t want to have it at a church, (this one’s breathtaking though!!!) … Greystone Mansion is relatively reasonable because it’s a public park. I went not long ago and was trying not have regrets for not having my wedding there! Also, Stuart Hall at Temescal Park is quite nice and inexpensive! Good luck and let us know where you pan out!
