Looking for a venue in the boston area:
$20k budget
150 people
Many people will be traveling so accomodations nearby are important. I also have a ceremony venue in Concord, MA that I love, love love but can’t seem to find a reception venue in my budget and near lodging in the area. Any advice would be MUCH appreciated.
I live in California so it’s been very difficult for me to figure out what I can afford and I would appreciate any recommendations!! THANK YOU!

There’s the Concord Inn. Have you looked there? http://www.concordscolonialinn.com/weddings.html
The Chelmsford Radisson is not far.
Tell me more about what you are looking for in a venue.
What ceremony site are you using? I’m from the immediate area.

There is also Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord. The Codman Estate in Lincoln but I’m unsure of pricing for that.

The Colonial Inn is nice, but I don’t think they are large enough to accomodate 150 guests.

@AprilJo2011: That’s probably true. I couldn’t tell from the website.

Hey, my ceremony was in Concord too. I sent you a PM if you want more info. I grew up in the area so I know a lot about what’s out there.

@SoontobeMrsA: Its the chapel at my old high school. It’s BEAUTIFUL, practically free, and available to alumni only so I’d love to take advantage. Unfortunately I have a gut feeling that I’m not going to be able to find a reception venue that I really like. I havent set it yet because I feel that the reception venue is more important bc that’s where people will spend most of their time.
I never liked the Colonial Inn very much, just because it’s so stylized… if that makes sense. It’s a drag because its RIGHT down the street. I’ll check out the chelmsford hotel.
I’m dealing with a serious “beer budget, champagne taste” issue right now, sadly. I can’t believe how expensive the area is!! eeekkk.
