Newly engaged bee here 🙂 I’m planning a wedding in Toronto while living a five hour drive away, so I can’t poke my head into all the venues I want to. I’ve scoured the internet, but I’m looking for any suggestions of venues for an Aug. 2018 venue. Several places that I really liked are already booked up, or turned out to be over budget (or, both booked and over budget).
I’m looking for a venue that can fit 250, and hold a ceremony, ideally outside, on site. Also looking to keep it at a reasonable budget, max $150 per head for everything including open bar (but cheaper is always better!)
Open to anything within the city of Toronto, and north of the city – FI’s family is all in Vaughan and that’s where we’d be based during the wedding.
Has anyone been to a wedding or had a wedding at a venue they can suggest?

Fiance are getting married in Toronto, and we chose the Old Mill as a reception venue. I believe they also have a ceremony place on site. I would check them out. The Old Mill is easily accessible by transit as well. The Old Mill is very reasonably priced, and the wedding planner I worked with is great.
Evergreen Brickworks could work as well. It’s “industrial-chic” (I guess?), and I would look into their capacities and their prices.
Hope this helps!

My fiance and I live 3 hours from Toronto and are getting married there as well.
We chose a venue in Hamilton called Carmen’s and it’s pretty much all inclusive. Our package comes with nice decor, cake, hotel stay, open bar, 5 course meal and a midnight snacks and sweet table ,dj and the room we picked has private patio attached to it for our cremermony, we are paying about 76 dollars a head. It was perfect for us because almost everything is being taken care of by them since we live so far away. We tried looking in the city but none of them were AI so we thought to travel a bit farther to Hamilton because it would mean less trips to the city.
