I have had the worse experience with this wedding planning. So I went today to show the building to a possible decorating company about having it draped and notice the tables are all bigger and longer. I could have died when I noticed that, so I went and try the linen that I have it its no longer going to work. Every month it have been an issue and I’m starting to hate the whole planning process and not to mention I’m yet to order my bms dresses. Their deadline was in August and I’m waiting on one more payment but I have went from 8 bms to 5 and now 4 because I can’t wait any longer for her money. I have had the worse time with my photographer, took e-pic in June and just getting proof back at the end of August and then couldn’t meet until the middle of September for editing of the pictures I wanted for our std and still yet to get one of the picture I picked out. Then the person who are doing the std didn’t do as I want and is suppose to re do them (she did them without our e-pic), it have been two weeks and still no revamped proof. All she had to do was go and added our pics where she had a picture of a random bouquet at. I’m almost 4 months out and still haven’t sent out std which I wanted to do last month at the 6 month mark. It is so much more that I won;t bore you all with, but I’m honestly thinking and hard considering eloping and saying to hell with it all. But deep down I want my wedding. 🙁

@hillsab03: You need to just try to not let the little things get to you!
Wedding planning is STRESSFUL! Trust me, I am 2 weeks away from my wedding and I am losing my mind!
If you REALLY want your wedding, just find a way to deal with the stress! In the end, the tiny things aren’t going to matter. What’s going to matter is you, getting to marry your love!

@hillsab03: For your linens (I assume you own them and are not renting them), could you split them down the middle and sew in a coordinating “built in” table runner?

I tell myself that but it’s very overwelming.
sew?? What is that?? Lol I don’t know the first thing about sewing and the sad part is I took sewing in high school for an elective.

when you say the venue upgraded your tables does that mean they have to old ones hanging around that they could bring back out? I think that @Jen041815’s suggestion is great, you must know someone who can sew? Or hire someone? It’d surely be cheaper than buying whole new linens. i understand that you’re feeling very over the whole process and that’s totally fair with what you’ve gone through, but it is just one day and I’m sure once you’re married to your dear Fiance linens etc won’t seem as important as they do now 🙂
