(Closed) Venue/Caterer response time

slymouse:  I might consider moving on to another venue if they haven’t responded to an email you sent 2 weeks ago. If they aren’t responsive when they’re trying to earn your business, I feel like they won’t get easier to deal with if you book them.

slymouse:  While I think you should have heard back by now, I wouldn’t just move on.  You never know what is going on (vacation, family emergency, etc.).  I would email them again as a follow-up to see if they received your email.

Have you tried calling them? Maybe your emails for some reason are going to their spam filter. Try placing a phone call and then after that if you get no response, I would move on. You are not being overly eager for wedding that is next year. Places can book up fast and most venues understand that and will book you as soon as you want to make the commitment.
