voyme262: what’s a marquee wedding?

We are getting married at a historic mansion and garden, and we have to hire everything in as well.

We are actually leaning on our caterer to recommend quantities for glasses, service sets, plates, tables, etc. and staff for hire.

Our florist is providing vases and flowers.

I’m coordinating everything, since I’m a type A, high strung person who manages corporate events as part of my job. There’s a learning curve, but it’s not that steep for me.

I advise you to ask your married friends or your mum if you have a good relationship with her. My friends are super supportive of wedding planning, since I’m the last to get married. hth.
