Hubby surprised me by ordering a vera wang blue sapphire and diamond band for my birthday.
It’s been a particularly horrendous year (for all of us). I lost one of my closest friends to covid-19 in June, and then immediately after that, we found out that my beloved hubby had a cancerous tumor. Luckily, the surgeon was amazing and was he able to get it all and hubby has a good prognosis. The surgeon is very happy with his recovery.
So my husband on my birthday, put this ring on my finger, told me he loved me, and then said that everything is going to be alright. I didn’t want to cry, but I lost it after that. I guess the tears were a long time coming. This ring now means the world to me.

So absolutely beautiful, and it looks amazing as part of your set. I’m very sorry for the loss of your friend. But equally as happy and relieved that your sweet husband is recovering well.
I have the same band! I love it, too. My hubby gave it to me about 3 years ago, for the Valentine’s Day after his open heart surgery. (Surgery was in January, and I was still so shell-shocked by all if it by the time February and Valentine’s Day came around. That he would give me such a sweet gift was a total surprise.)
