I’ve never seen a look-a-like, but I haven’t really been looking either. 🙂 I’m sure there is something similar out there, but please don’t buy a look-a-like. The designers spent a lot of time designing that dress and it’s unfair and unethical {and not to mention should be illegal}to knock a dress off and sell it cheap. JCrew has great beach casual dresses and they’re all their own. What’s your dress budget? Maybe you can look for sample sales that will have Vera and look for it?

There are lots of suggestions for you.  You could submit an etsy alchemy request.  You could try a Chinese dressmaker (I don’t know anything about this, but I’ve been lurking around these boards long enough to see that a lot of people have used them and had really good experiences).  You could show photos to a dressmaker in your area and have it custom made (Mrs. Pomegranate did this- she had a dress custom made to look like an Oscar de la Renta).  If you’re ok with a dress that doesn’t look *exactly* the same, there are loads and loads of dresses in that shape because it’s sort of *the* hot shape at the moment.

It’s a beautiful dress, and I wish you luck finding something that will make you happy!

You should post this question in classifieds. Wedding gown vendors and replicators are not allowed to post on boards with photos of the gowns their companies have made so, post this to classifieds and you will get 20+ results from people who have gorgeous vera wang and melissa sweet look-alikes. Good luck!
