Welcome to the Vermont boards!

I’m getting married at our church in Randolph, Vermont, so I’m really not much of a help! Our reception is in the church hall. We have a really low budget and were able to use the church and hall for free, which really cut down on our costs!

Have you checked out The Round Barn in Waitsfield? I know several friends who got married there and loved it! http://www.theroundbarn.com/weddings

If I come across any more, I’ll be sure to share them with you!

Hi! Welcome to the hive!

We chose our venue because of the affordable factor. We’re getting married in November so we likely will not have an outdoor ceremony but there is definitely space for it. The venue is about a 20 min drive south of Burlington (in Charlotte) too so it’s really easy to get to.

It also comes with all tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces and tableware. I wanted to upgrade to the chiavari chairs and longer table linens so we rented them but it’s def not a necessary thing. The food packages also come with a cake which is really nice- and the food is awesome. If you’re looking for affordable yet nice this is a great choice! We’re super excited! Our wedding date is Nov 3 which is the first date of their off-season so our fee is $3900 plus the food and bar. If you choose a friday or sunday in the regualr season I believe that is also the price.

Good luck!!! Let me know if you have any questions.

@love108:  Great! You found it. Yeah they are really great and such a pleasure to work with. Lisa and Roland are people you seem like you would know and it feels like they are letting you use their home rather than renting a space- if that makes sense 🙂

I am a bit late coming into this but in case you have not booked.

http://www.skisleepyhollow.com in Huntington, VT about 15 miles from Burlington.

You get the entire place for the weekend, includes 8 rooms at the Inn.Catering you have to go outside of the venue but there are tons in the area and Sleepy Hollow’s site is really helpful in listing all contacts.

We are still in season, so best to check with them. My old roommate is the owner, that aside they are still really great to work with!
