Fiance and I have been searching for weeks for the perfect honeymoon spot for our late June wedding and I think we have finally found it: the Biltmore Hotel in Ashville, NC! Does anyone have any experience with visiting the Biltmore or have any tips for staying in that area? Is it very touristy? Are there lots of families visiting there in the summer or is it mostly couples?
I have posted so many times about advice for our honeymoon…hopefully this is the last one until we officially book!

To @felixfelicis: North Carolina is GORGEOUS !!
The Biltmore is just one of the SPECTACULAR Highlights you’ll find in the area along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Biltmore has a website… as does the Parkway.
BUT my best advice, is probably to go over to TripAdvisor (the # 1 TripPlanning tool on the Internet) and ask your SPECIFIC Questions in their Travel Forum for that area, then you can get excellent feedback from TA Destination Experts & Locals

@felixfelicis: Two words: book it. Asheville is beautiful and romantic. The only better time to go is during the fall when the leaves change. I highly recommend visiting the Biltmore, Chimney Rock Park, Lake Lure (where they filmed Dirty Dancing), Linville Falls, and Linville caverns. And, of course, go whitewater rafting on the French Broad. 🙂
