Sorry your going through this alexismarie :  I can only really comment on my experience – I had a HCG test come back on 22nd October at 48 and then I had a secondary HCG test on the 29th October and my HCG level came back at 1980. This might not be what you want to hear but the bleeding by part of a chemical miscarriage? I’d go back in a week and have them test your HCG again. It should be doubling every few days. Best of luck ❤️

I don’t, sorry. I did have ‘low’ hcg in my first pregnancy, but it increased appropriately. For every thing you ask/google with pregnancy, there will be some people where everything worked fine and some where it didn’t.
Between the bleeding and the low rising hcg, it is definitely important to keep track of the numbers. It could be a potential chemical/miscarriage as pp noted, it could also be a sign of an ectopic (though rare). It could also end up fine. Good luck 🤞

What does your doctor say? Is she concerned?

alexismarie :  Keeping my fingers crossed for you! It could be a chemical pregnancy, it could be ectopic, it could be implantation bleeding, it could be regular spotting. Unfortuantely, it’s hard to tell this early on.  Your HCG rise is low, but that’s not unheard of.  It should be doubling every few days.  Are you going back again for another round of bloodwork?

alexismarie :  Totally get it. I’m 13 weeks now but had a miscarriage in the spring, and every single time I feel a cramp I assume the worst. If the worst happens, just know you did nothing to cause it. Waiting sucks, but there’s nothing you can do in the meantime. Good luck!

It’s so early even for the hcg to determine anything

i bled until 9 weeks pregnancy and all is fine

what has your doctor said? Are you going for more bloods?

sorry you’re going through this. Just remember the odds are still in your favour.

alexismarie :  I’m so sorry, darling.  I had an early miscarriage in August, about 8 days after my positive pregnancy test.  Mine started with very bright red bleeding, not spotting, so I can’t relate there.  I miscarried over Labor Day weekend, and had negative pregnancy tests before Tuesday.  I really hope that this isn’t what’s happening to you, but please know this happens in about 20% of pregnancies, and the vast majority of them are due to just a bad sperm and/or a bad egg.  I got pregnant just 2 months later, and I’m now sitting at 6 weeks.  I’m a nervous wreck, much more so than when I was pregnant with my daughter 2 years ago, but I’m taking it one day at a time.

I really hope you have some good news with your betas on Thursday.  Thinking of you <3

I’m sorry, but HCG not coming close to doubling generally means the pregnancy is not viable. I’m sorry, I just want you to know what my doctor told me when I experienced the same. I had numbers not double, but then double later and that was ectopic. I also had numbers not double at all and that was a chemical. I’m really sorry.
