I recently purchased my wedding dress (hooray!) and while I tried on a lace-trimmed veil that at the time I loved, I keep mentally wandering back to the thought of having a two-tier veil with a blusher for the walk down the aisle. I would love to see photos of you with your blusher down. If you have a dress similar to mine… even better!

@krenee24: For what it’s worth, I think you look beautiful in the veil you have in the photo! But I love the idea of a blusher for your dress! Have you thought about a drop veil? I think that could be pretty too!

The best thing to do, rather than looking at pics of other brides, is to try on a veil with blusher yourself. I think they’re gorgeous and love how other women look in them, and thought I wanted one for myself – until I put one on and looked in the mirror. Somehow it just didn’t suit me. You really need to see one on yourself to judge whether it will work for you.
ETA: Of course, that’s not to say that you shouldn’t look at pictures of other brides – you totally should, because it’s fun! But they aren’t really relevant to your decision. It will depend on how you look in the blusher.

Thanks for the advice! I suppose you’re right, I need to just try one on – my dress arrives in July and we are getting married in October, so I guess I’ll just have to wait until it gets here to be able to try one on with it. I have definitely thought about the drop veil, I think they are tres cool – and yes, it is very fun to look at other brides in their dresses. 🙂

Gorgeous Dress Krenee, I had the same conflict but decided to go with the blusher. I had a cathedral lenght veil. Here are some pics.
