Quit the job and focus on your ETSY and your LIFE!

It all will be meaningless if you can’t enjoy life for what it is. Also take some time off from school and just live!

@sexisammy4u: No problem, I’m really sorry that you are going through all of this but I am so thankful that there can be an end in sight for you! Are you feeling better about dropping your job and some of your workload?

PM me if you ever need someone to talk to! Praying for peace and strength for you!

It sounds like money might be a little tight now.  Do you think taking out school loans is going to make things more difficult in the long run when it’s time to repay them (and the interest rate is annoyingly high)? Just wanted to throw that out there.

Having said that, it sounds like your current situation just isn’t working.  It’s time to change something, and obviously from your post you are ready to make some kind of change.  I gather that your current full-time job is what is causing you the most stress in your life.  Do you think you and your SO can manage if you drop your full-time job to focus on the Etsy business?

@sexisammy4u: I think it’s time to walk away! I worked at a job like that once, where yes, it was guaranteed money, but I was treated terribly.  It took so much courage to walk away, and I have never looked back.  I hated going to work so bad on Monday I would feel sick all weekend and literally count down the hours until the weekend was over.  My hair was practically falling out.  I have never regretted walking away.

Life is meant to be lived.  It goes by so fast.  A job doesn’t define you – what makes you happy defines you.  You deserve a chance to find that!

@Eva Peron: agreed!

sometimes its really easy to get caught up in work and money. You need to focus on your education and enjoy your life. be causios with the loan thing though. the last thing you want is a huge chunk of student loans when you graduate. I mean, some loans are fine but dont take extra loans to be more comfortable. remember: live within your means but have a good time and enjoy your life 😀

Wow, seems like you have a lot going on in your life!

Here is my opinion. I think that if you hate your job THAT much, then quit and continue to do your Etsy buisnesses. I’m for full-time school all the way because it really does take a long time regardless if you go part-time of full-time, but if you do not have the means to go full-time, then do what you can. Yes, you are able to recieve a significant amount of loans, however you have to pay those back and some with interest. Take it from me, it is NOT fun! After grad school I’ll have about $$95,000 in school loans to pay off and it makes my stomach hurt. Thankfully Fiance had his school paid for, otherwise I don’t know how we would do it.

You only have one life, and being exhausted isn’t the best way to live it. Do what you feel is right deep down in your gut. None of us on here can tell you what to do. I think you already know what you are going to do, anyhow. Regardless, I’m sure you’ll make it work! Be happy and good luck!!!

If you want to rely on school loans and financial aid my advice to you is do school full time because that’s how you can get the most financial aid available. If you were doing school, work, and running a business then you can definitely handle school full time and running a business. I go to school full time right now and I’m only really at school less than 3 hours a day. Hope this helps!

@sexisammy4u:  Sounds like you are ready for a new chapter in your life.  I wish you luck!  And make sure to stop and periodically evaluate your situation to make sure that you are happy.  🙂
