We booked our photographer before we booked the venue! Then after the venue the first thing I booked was the DJ. Because of my FI’s best man’s deployment schedule/ my brother’s school schedule, and the fact that we didn’t want to wait more than a year to get married we knew the date we had to pick, so we booked the venue around the date we needed.

I should also mention that we knew which photographer we were using before we booked our venue too… Otherwise photographer would have been the next thing on the list after the venue.

Wedding dress – but then had wedding dress regret and bought another one a year later so don’t buy your dress too early haha

Our venue had in-house caterers so we booked the officiant and the photographer next (both were booked within the same week)

Screamed and danced around, tbh.
Then we started meeting with other people we had on our list. We already have our photographer, but I started chatting with the caterer, DJ, and officiant, and we just booked our rental agency for decorations because they were having an amazing deal that we couldn’t pass up. Considering that we have two caterers we have to choose from for our venue, booking the one we want is the next goal.

Right after venue emailed photographers that day like a 20-30 that I had bookedmarked once we had date set then got emails from maybe half those who were avaliable then stalked and found one as fast as possible.
