It’s called Lose It! It looks like a little orange scale and it’s free! It counts the calories, fat grams, carbs, protein, and fiber for you. You put in your age, gender, weight, height, etc and current weight as well as goal weight. You select an option for weight loss (lose 1/2 pound per week-lose 2 pounds per week) and it will calculate the amount of calories you should eat to achieve your goal. Then you just add what you eat for each meal and any exercise you do. It has a lot of fast food in there too, which is what I really like about it because I’m so terrible about going through the McDonald’s drive thru in a hurry. But it’s helped me a lot, so I thouht I’d share!

Thanks! There is also one called Livestrong or DailyPlate that does the same. I use that website (thedailyplate.com) religiously, so I was pumped when I saw the iPhone app. Isnt it shocking when you see the actual calorie count of some things?! Yeesh.
Alos helps me that I live in NYC, and there is a new law here that restaurants (chain ones, any place with 15 locations nation wide) MUST post the calorie count on the menu after the item – cant mask it or hide it. It has to be right there in your face. The lemon cake at starbucks I looove? Yeah 400 cals a slice. haent eaten that in a year now

I use Lose It and it helps a lot. It allows you to create “Custom Foods” too, so if you eat something not in their database, you can create a new entry for it by entering in the serving size, number of calories, etc.

Lose it is great. You never realize how much you consume until you track it. I lost 3 pounds in two weeks more than on any diet I have been on in a while

lol yeah, I never cease to be surprised. Like today, I was trying to decide if I wanted a sandwich or a slice of cheese pizza. The pizza was about 240 calories. The sandwich, like 440. Haha, I had pizza and totally didn’t feel guilty. 🙂

I used Lose It for a little while but stopped. I am now back on it for the rest of the time until my wedding. I also love the fact that you can just maintain your weight!
