I can’t stop crying. One of my all time favorite teachers and one of the most special human beings I’ve ever met has passed away a few hours ago.
One of my professors from my MFA program got diagnosed with late-stage cancer in the summer. He has been in hospice care.
I sent him a hearfelt letter that he received a weeks ago. I am glad it got there in time.
I really wanted to bring my Fiance to meet him in San Francisco one day, and to share things with him throughout my life. I still will, just in a different way….
He was such a kind soul. This is heartbreaking.

I’m so sorry!
It is very painful and hard to believe when we loose a special person in our life and too soon as well.

That is incredibly sad for you. It sounds like this human being made a huge impact in your life and for that I am sure he (and his family) would feel honored to know. You should feel good knowing that you were able to share your thoughts & feelings with him while he was alive.

@Eva Peron: & @blingybride: Thanks you guys…He certainly did make a huge impact in my life. He was a wonderful example not only as an artist but more importantly as a human being.
