- Wedding: July 2013
I am looking for some sort of arrangement to have an intimate afternoon wedding ceremony with just 10 people (immediate family) in Philly. Ideally I would like to find a nice brunch/lunch restaurant with a nice courtyard or something to hire an officiant and do a very brief ceremony then sit down and eat with all of my family. Or maybe something like a park, then go to a nearby restaurant. I don’t want to spend a bunch of money renting out a facility to do a ceremony because it will be so small and brief. Any suggestions?
Also, anyone know if you can use Rittenhouse Square for a wedding? I know there will be people around since it’s a public park, but I’m thinking about just camping out in a spot and using it for my tiny ceremony…is this allowed? What about the philadelphia art museum steps? I know the art museum does not do weddings, but would we be allowed to use the steps? I can’t find this info anywhere. Thanks!
