Hi Bees, well the dress is arriving very soon and we are now onto the veil and hairstyle so please HELP!!! Here hair is very think, every hairdresser says so and quite long – to her waist. She currently straightens it because she says it is BOOFY!! It is NOT curly at all.
My daughter wants to wear her hair half up/half down and also wants a blusher for the veil. She is in love with bling!!! I bit too much I think. Anyway here is the dress. She is a little girl, only 5’2″ (155cm) tall.
It has a reasonable density of beading/bling and at the back too…
A chapel length train.
What do you suggest please?
1. hair options
2. veil length options
3. veil emblishments
Many thanks in advance

I also have long hair and will be wearing a veil. I’m going to try to get a full up-do. Might be kind of difficult with very long hair, but it’s what I want. The veil is single tier fingertip length.
I think just a blusher veil with hair worn half down might look a bit strange, but maybe I’m not quite understanding the description.

@Edelweiss: Sorry, I don’t think I explained it properly.
She wants a half up/half down hairstyle but the veil can be any length, just needs a blusher and some bling.
I really like a Cathedral drop veil that covers the face and then after the ceremony is flipped back. Like the one Kate wore when she married Prince William. A bit of bling under the drop veil placed on the hair which is then exposed when the veil is flipped back.
What do you think? Would a cathedral drop veil work. A bit like this one just with some rhinestone/embroidery on the bottom of the veil only. http://loveveils.com/folded-mantilla
Or do you think something else would work better?
Thanks for your comments.

The veil you posted is nice and you can add delicate crystals all over the veil and it would look so pretty or your daughter can wear a really nice, blingy hair accessory. My hair is about mid-back and I am 5’3 and have full thick hair which tends to get wavy. I will be having my hair half up/half down because I have a round/oval face.

@msfuturea: Thanks for your suggestion. Sorry I have been travelling and unable to access my e-mails. My daughter had a trial on the weekend and has selected (just as well) an all up hairstyle. This should make it easier to control and also select a veil.
This was only a trial so the hairstyle is nowhere near complet, just type of lool.
See photo below:
Also she has chosen a drop veil with a bit of beading on the bottom of the Chapel/Cathedral length. Have to confirm length after she has a dress trial with shoes…. I believe 6″ (or 15cm) beyond end of dress train.
