This might seem really weird, but since yesterday I have been getting a weird vibrating sensation in my lower abdomen. It feels like a cell phone vibrating. It does not hurt at all and it happens about every 8 seconds to every few minutes. Has anyone ever had this happen?
Some sources online say it could be a pinched nerve or blood vessel, which makes sense bc my neck hurts a lot at work. I notice it mostly when I’m sitting at a desk, but i also noticed yesterday when I was at practice. Sorry for Too Much Information but I started my period a few days ago, not sure if it’s related to that or not. I don’t get cramps and it doesnt feel like that at all. Anyone ever had this?

Fiance has this. You can visibly see it vibrating. BUT, it’s not as often it’s only a few times in succession every once in awhile. I, personally would ask a doctor.

Firstly, if it worries you, call a doctor.
I have had a sensation like that before, but in my lower calf. It lasted a couple weeks and went away on its own. I assumed that it was just a muscle spazm, as it didn’t hurt, it was just really annoying which sounds similar to what you’re experiencing. Also, the worst thing you can do is check online for what could be causing the symptoms. It could tell you anything from a pinched nerve to cancer…I stay clear of self diagnosing through the internet!

I had something similar recently. Mine felt less like muscle spasms and more like little electric jolts. It was tingling. I went to the doc just to make sure but it all came down to stress. It went away in about two weeks. Stress does CRAZY things to us.

Stress defintely does crazy things! I have had all kinds of health issues due to it, and i would’nt be surprised if that is what was causing this!
