Hi girls, I am not one to complaint or to write negative things, but I feel compelled to warn others of the nightmare My fiancee and I have just gone through.
It all started here on weddingbee, where I found a vendor under the name of marina marina, she advertises samples and original designer dresses to brides on a budget. To cut a very long story short, I contacted her, and after reading positve feedback from brides I decided to order my dress from her, I paid a deposit and a few months later the remaining balance plus insurance, delivery and her handling fees. She supposedly sent the dress but it never arrived,(we live in the UK)after several weeks of waiting anxiously we checked with the USPS, only to find out that they sent the parcel the cheapest way, so it wasn’t trackable, and it was never insured. All this time they were stringing us along, we waited for 3 long months for them to solve this issue, all for them to say that it is not their fault that the dress got lost and that they can’t replace nor refund Our hard saved money. We are now left $850 out of pocket and without a wedding dress.
I would hate for any one else to go through this, and this is why I am warning you all of this vendor.
She also goes under the name Marwa Moaz and she has a facebook page called Bella brides.

Does she have a reciept proving it was ever shipped in the first place?

I received a tracking number yes, but they never sent it the way we paid for (first class international express mail), so I was never able to track it. They could have sent anything really. We put our trust in them, and they deceived us. I understand that things get lost in the post all the time, but why would you send a wedding dress of that value without insurance, and then make us wait pretending to be making a claim for the insurance they never paid for.

Oh wow. Good to hear. I was thinking of ordering from Bella Brides. Is she the same as the Bella Brides on Etsy?

Hi hellecat, I don’t know to be honest. I only know her from here and facebook.
Make sure you research the vendor before you purchase anything. And always pay by credit card through paypal!

Sorry to hear about your dress Misslatin. I guess we really have to do our homework before we part with our cash. I guess the positive feedback you read from other brides were based in the US so maybe they received their dresses without a problem.
Is there any way you can get your money back at all? You will find a dress you love eventually!
If you are near the North West of England I can recommend the place I got my dress from. This place sells beautiful sample dresses and there is no pressure to buy at all. You can try to your heart’s content! I won’t write it here cos not sure what the advertising rules are. PM me if you would like the name
