Just got engaged last week and wanted to show off my ring! It’s a Victorian piece, estimated to be from the 1880s. It’s a low profile belcher setting and is handcarved, and I just think it’s the coolest! The OEC faces up whiter than it’s color grade would suggest, but even when it’s looking warmer, it performs great!
I did have some input on the ring. I sent my fiance several links to antique/vintage pieces I liked and told him to pick his favorite, and I’m thrilled with his choice! I couldn’t possibly take a good enough picture of it myself, so I’m including a couple from the online vendor it came from (shout out to Pebble and Polish — my fiance said they were great!).
Of course, pictures of other bees’ Victorian jewelery is more than welcome!

My suffrage bracelet from my MIL’s mother from England in 1910. The ‘green’ stood for GIVE, ‘white’ stood for WOMEN and ‘violet’ stood for VOTE. I always wear this on voting day….
