    @Barbiestylez:  Looking at those 2 pictures I agree. The first one looks a lot healthier than the 2nd model. But again, if we let weight aside, it’s a different body type as well. Not all thin women are naturally curvy.

    I think Karlie is one of the smaller ones but look at that smile. Also I don’t know about sickly but the older ones look mire toned whereas newer ones have more boy ish body shapes. And I’m just realizing I missed this :<

    @cheesecakelove:  I think the only reason they appear toned is because they have like 1% body fat.  Anyone who has done research on how to get a six pack knows that it’s mostly about having no body fat.  They don’t look muscular to me at all.  They just look like they have no body fat.

    @lolot:  +1 I completely agree.

    @mu_t:  I’m 5’7″ and was once 170 lbs. and still wore my VS bras & panties.  Yes, I had to get larger sizes and stretched the bras out like crazy (had to buy all new bras when I lost weight).  But I could definitely still wear them.

    @Barbiestylez:  I disagree about the photo of Candice you posted.  She’s wearing an outfit that has ADDED inches around her hips & butt to make her hips appear much larger than they really are, which is what gives her that great hourglass shape.  Plus, she is an amazing model and knows how to give the illusion of curves she doesn’t have.  She’s also popped her hip in the photo, which makes her hips look even larger and curvier.  I’m not saying she doesn’t look attractive, but she is extremely thin like the photo of the model beneath her.  She’s just a better model and wearing a better outfit.

    @Christy42213:  I’m mostly talking about the bathing suits. I don’t buy their bras or underwear cuz i think they’re overpriced. I cannot for the life of me fit into their large bathing suit bottoms. it is my eternal goal to be small enough to fit. and i think that is ridiculous because… maybe i’m delusional, but i really don’t think i’m that big.

     I have no issue with you having an opinion, nor do I have an issue with the original post/intention for the thread.  But when you post a photo of a VS Model who is not at all sickly, just very thin framed and TONED, and call her such, just rubbed me the wrong way.  I know plenty of women in my life and even bees on here who have this same frame and are totally healthy.

    I also agree there are plenty of models in the industry that are very unhealthy, of course there are…but I don’t believe in MY opinion that the ones you posted, nor any of them are sickly looking IMO.

    @Barbiestylez:  I have a body that is almost exactly like the second model you posted. No one has ever told me I look sickly. I put a lot of effort into my workouts and I don’t eat like crap. I also have a naturally small build. You can have your opinion, and I can have mine as well, which is that your second post in this thread is pure body shaming.

    Really? lol are we seriously bashing girls who are physically fit and happen to be skinnier than the average woman?

    Unless these girls are freaking annorexic with skin and bones I don’t see why they should be shamed for their bodies. They are healthy and have nice muscles and I’m sure could probably kick most girls asses on here lol.

    The only people who bash these VS models are women who have a serious case of the green eyed monster. Seriously girls, deep down inside you know these VS models are healthy and fit, put your jealousy aside girls.

    @letigre:  Agreed!! +1

    I’ve been skinny my whole entire life and tried to put on weight up until maybe 3 years ago when I was able to start gaining weight. I ate junk/healthy etc and had a rather large appetite, people always assumed crap like I was annorexic and it would annoy the crap out of me because it was nothing I could control. I love my body, I eat like a regular person, I’m healthy (so the doctor tells me) and if my body pisses off someone else then it’s their problem not mine.

    Regardless of what they look like or my opinion of their looks the regimen they use to look that way for a show is ridiculous.

    Lima drinks a gallon of water a day. For nine days before the show, she will drink only protein shakes — “no solids.” The concoctions include powdered egg. Two days before the show, she will abstain from the daily gallon of water, and “just drink normally.” Then, 12 hours before the show, she will stop drinking entirely. “No liquids at all so you dry out, sometimes you can lose up to eight pounds just from that,” she says.

    @Barbiestylez:  they were the most toned I’ve ever seen them! Their abs were ridiculously awesome! Very thin women, yes, but quite beautiful and toned.

    @Barbiestylez:  most of these models bodies are pretty similar to bikini modeling competitors bodies, I don’t see it as too thin at all. It’s just pretty hard to maintain at that level of low body fat percentage.

    @Christy42213:  I don’t think women can have such a low body fat percentage. I have 16% body fat (much lower than average) and look similar, though all my fat may be in my boobs, so who knows. I get measured at my gym, and some of the newer trainers marvel at my body fat % until my guy tells them that I started with very little to begin with, lol. Everyone’s body is different, but some women can look very thin with 20% body fat.

    @Treejewel19:  a gallon of water?! I try to drink 2.5 litres a day but am satisfied and hydrated with about 2. I can’t imagine how many times a day she would have to pee.

    @letigre:  Perhaps, but most people don’t get defined abs until they’re around 4-10% body fat.  VS models have very little flesh on their bones.  I’d bet they fall within that range.
