@alysee:  I think it is a great idea, you just have to keep in mind that there will be some who will likely not see it. Many people do not check their emails regularly and some people do not even have an email account.

There are some really cool ones on you tube, the best ones are in the entertainment industry. I would love to get one of those either in my email or as a cd. I even think the older generation would love it, I know my mother would really think it was cool.

I think the idea itself is cool, but I don’t know how practical it is for a few reasons that are personal to me:

1) I like to put a save the date on my fridge as a reminder of the event. I can’t hang a video on my fridge, so I may forget about saving the time and having a scheduling conlict.

2) I forget to watch videos that people send me.  I get YouTube clips sent all the time and I probably watch 1 in every 50 that are sent just because I forget about them.

3) I’m lazy.  My laptop is usually off and put away when I’m home.  If I was sent the URL of a website to go find and watch a video on, I’d procrastinate and probably forget to watch it.
