Bumping this thread–anyone else have a videographer suggestion?  (NYC, Westchester, even CT would be fine…)

Try Ctweddingmovies.com.  The guy is a 6 time emmy winner, for nbc news in ct.  Has really affordable packages and i’ve seen his work and hired him for my wedding waiting for my video now. His work is amazing and if you look on his site the first couple are friends of mine and i can’t tell you how beautiful the actual video turned out.

I have yet to see a wedding video that I like. I say save your money for the honeymoon. Your children and generations after you will cherish pictures of your big day. Lets spare generations of the soon to be “outdated” MTV knock off of a special day. I say if you do really want a videographer- do it classy.

Yeaqh I saw a wedding video done like a HBO knockoff of the Sopranos not that long ago and I thought the same thing, UGH. I’m like, what’s the point? Doing a tribute to an HBO show or is this about your wedding?

But then I saw some videos that look like they’re a feature film. Awesome! So now I’m in between thinking it too because it would be awesome to have something I can not only see but hear and watch my mom and dad and grandmom and have them forever right there. That’s the best thing I like about it.
