Is it worth it? Well if it is a quality company with great editing skills then yes it is definitely worth it. The price you mentioned is pretty low, at least for our area, so I’m hoping it is a well recognized company.

We absolutely LOVE our video. We have watched it so many times and it reflects the day perfectly. It captured so many moments we had forgotten about. I included a link in case you wanted to see a short idea of what a vidoegrapher can do. We paid around $3,500.

$875 does seem really low for videography. We will be paying $3000 for ours. Have you seen examples of their other work? You don’t want a DVD that looks like an earthquake from hell

I had originally planned on not having a videographer, but after seeing my best friends wedding video in December it got added to the must have list!  We are paying about $4000 for 8 hours of coverage, edited preview video and 20-30min. long final video, plus dvds and blu rays.

How many people do you know that actually watch their wedding video? I think every single person I know who has one has watched it the day they got it… maybe with their parents and never again after that.

    I do think $875 is a good price… but I think it’s a complete waste.

Not having a videographer is one of my biggest regrets, so if you like their work go for it!!

That is an amazing price !! Especially for what you are getting !! Definitely worth it. We found a great deal as well and are very happy with who we choose. We were working with a much smaller budget but definitely wanted videography. We have not received our full dvds yet but will be getting a ceremony and reception edited videos as well as a highlights video. Here is our teaser…

@subola:  The question is do you think $875 is a fair amount of money to be able to relive your wedding over and over. Or when you are old, and are losing your memory to be able to watch it and remember the happiest day of your life?  I think it is very much worth it.
